Message from CEO
It has been 30 years since Baiduri Bank first opened its doors in Brunei, and while innovation and
financial performance have played a role in our success, what truly defines us is the people who
built this Bank.
From our dedicated employees who have driven our growth and transformation, to the customers
who have placed their trust in us, and the partners who have supported us along the way, Baiduri
Bank has always been about people. Technology and financial strength may enable a business,
but it is the dedication, passion, and commitment of individuals that truly make it thrive.
We are deeply grateful to the Government of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan
of Brunei Darussalam and to the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank (BDCB) for their ongoing
contribution to the progress and evolution of Baiduri Bank.
I would like to acknowledge our Chairman and the Board of Directors, past and present,
whose leadership and guidance have been instrumental as we navigated both challenges
and opportunities.
My heartfelt thanks also go to the leadership teams who came before me—whose vision and
dedication laid the strong foundations that have supported the Bank’s growth and innovation.
Their legacy is a testament to the power of committed leadership and continues to shape every
achievement we celebrate today. A special thank you goes to our former employees and partners
for their lasting impact, spirit of collaboration and drive for excellence that continues to inspire us.
This milestone anniversary is a tribute to those who have shaped Baiduri Bank into what it is
today—the largest conventional bank in Brunei, a trusted financial partner for individuals and
businesses, and an organisation deeply engaged with the communities we serve.
